Amridge University

Amridge University is an independent, coeducational institution dedicated to the spirit of its ideals and Christian heritage. All of Amridge University's programs are taught from a Christian perspective. Amridge University is the home of one of the nation's leading universities offering distance learning programs and services to adults nationally.

Amridge University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award Associate of Arts. The purpose of the College of General Studies is to provide instruction and training on the undergraduate level for Christian ministers and religious workers as well as prepare students for careers and professions that provide support and services for the well-being of individuals, family, and society.

The College of General Studies provide a foundation that prepares students for graduate or advanced study. Many of the Amridge graduates of the College of General Studies choose to continue their studies at the Amridge School of Human Services or the Amridge University Turner School of Theology.
